Day 17: Cherbourg (France) → Dublin (Ireland)

An unexpected additional "day" onto our road-trip – we had a fairly smooth crossing from France to Ireland. Thankfully we just missed Storm Lilian by about 24 hours - though it had impacted our ships schedule and it was still trying to catchup a bit.

Storms in this region of Europe are named in order of a pre-published list organised by the Met offices of Ireland, UK and Netherlands – that all share the same weather systems. With this being the twelfth storm of the 23/24 season.

Crossing over to Ireland

Arriving safely back into Dublin Port on a very different ship and route our original plan called for!

Arriving in Dublin Port

And a short 20 km drive back to our home. Where we were reminded of our PCM reset performed in Stavanger – as it also – of course – wiped out our Homelink settings to our underground parking garage gate!

We arrived back with 38% state of charge.
